Richard began building as a child and pursued his passion in college with a degree in Construction Management. After graduating from Cal Poly, Richard went on to manage large projects for a major construction company, and later worked for high-end residential builders in the Bay Area. In 2003, he established Kirby Construction, with the simple idea of providing quality construction to clients in the North Bay, where he grew up and is now raising his family. After an impressive amount of growth in managing both commercial and residential projects over a course of 13+ years, he decided to pursue his passion of high-end residential building. In 2016, he stepped out of Kirby Construction, and started Annadel Builders, Inc.
The team at Annadel Builders is committed to staying in the forefront of the latest residential building techniques and trends. This commitment requires immense effort and dedication. Staying on top of his continued education, Richard attended classes at Sonoma State University and also taught Construction Management classes (Scheduling and Estimating) at Santa Rosa Junior College. He also participates in educational seminars and courses at the local chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), and has obtained his Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) AP (Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Person). Passionate for excellence in his field, Richard is continually looking for opportunities to educate himself and his team in the highest quality, the most current, and the most advanced construction practices.
